    Files are encrypted and accessible only by entering the correct password or PIN.
    No data is uploaded to any server unless specifically stated for backup features (if provided).

  • Icon Camouflage
    The app icon appears as a normal calculator, offering a discreet vault.
    No data is collected based on the icon camouflage feature.

  • Intruder Selfie
    If someone tries to unlock the vault with the wrong password or PIN multiple times, the app will take a selfie of the intruder.
    These selfies are stored locally on your device, visible only to you.

  • Recycle Bin
    Deleted files are temporarily moved to the recycle bin and can be restored.
    Files in the recycle bin are not permanently deleted until you empty it.

  • Password Setup
    The password or PIN is used to encrypt and protect your vault.
    We do not store your password or PIN on our servers. It is encrypted and stored locally on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

4. Local Storage Only / Irrecoverability Notice

All files, photos, videos, and other data stored inside Calculator Vault are saved only on your device and are not uploaded to any server or cloud. This means we cannot restore your data if it is lost.

If you clear cache, clear storage, or uninstall the app, all the hidden data inside Calculator Vault will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered under any circumstances.

Before performing these actions, please make sure to transfer or restore your hidden files back to your phone’s gallery or storage to avoid losing important data.

5. Reset Password

If you forget the password, please enter “44332211” to reset the password, with no data loss.

6. Permissions Required by the App

For the Calculator Vault App to function properly, we request the following permissions:

  • Modify System Settings (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
    Purpose: To camouflage the app icon as a normal calculator.
    Why: Keeps the vault discreet and hidden in plain sight.

  • All media files stored in the vault are encrypted with your password or PIN.

  • We do not upload your files to external servers unless you choose to back them up (via optional cloud services).

  • Intruder selfies and other sensitive data are stored locally on your device and are accessible only to you.
